Mercury/32 - Setup for Dial-Up Connections
Wanna dialogue ? Contact Sifiso at: sifiso@webpro.co.za
Objective of this document.....
Mercury/32 is acknowledged as an excellent industrial strength mail server
suitable for installation at sites where 5 or more users require
desktop-to-internet e-mail connections. This requires the purchase of an
internet domain name and the services of a Dial-up ISP account. Problem is
that the dial-up features of M32 are reliant on Dial-up sevices from win98
/IE 4.0x which tend to be unstable and require constant user intervention
and a workaround in terms of using another utility (we suggest Netlaunch)
is required to build a bulletproof dial-up solution. This document
addresses that need on a network with TCP/IP routing enabled.
